Olympic style EZ curl bar vs spinlock. Difference? Benefits?
What is the difference or benefits, if any, of an olympic style EX curl bar and a spinlock? I see that the “ends” of the bars differ in size. I currently have all olympic style weights that would fit an olympic style bar (larger ends) but am having a hard time finding one that isn’t so heavy to begin with. I seem to find lighter spinlock bars (smaller ends) but would need to buy weights to fit and would like to avoid that since I have perfectly good ones already. Any suggestions would be great! Thank you.

Olympic = 2″ diameter
Standard = 1″ diameter
‘Olympic’ bars are designed to hold heavy weights (i.e. hundreds of KGs / pounds).
Standard 1″ bars are safe up to approx 50kg / 110lbs.
Olympic bars are very heavy compared to Standard bars because they have to support heavier weights.
